Privacy Notice
What we collect. Why. What you can do about it.
Effective June 17, 2026 · Version 1.0
Veridem Holdings Inc. ("Veridem," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Veridem creative suite, including Stem:Ample, Re:Writ, Compose:EP, MHAIX, MHAIX·V, and Rendered Sound (each, a "Product"). This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you visit our websites, sign up for our waitlists, or use our Products.
If you have questions, reach us at hello@getveridem.com.
What we collect
We collect the minimum information needed to run our business. That includes:
- Information you give us directly — your email address when you join a waitlist, any messages you send us, and account information if you create one.
- Information collected automatically — basic technical data your browser sends to any website, such as IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you visit. We use this to keep our sites secure and understand how they're used.
- Cookies and similar technologies — minimal cookies needed to make the site work and to remember your preferences. We do not currently use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
We do not collect government identification numbers, financial account numbers, or precise location data. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
How we use it
We use your information to:
- Notify you when a Product opens for early access or general availability;
- Respond to your questions or feedback;
- Operate, maintain, and improve our Products and websites;
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your email address with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us operate our business, and only to the extent necessary for them to do so. These include:
- Hosting and infrastructure providers (Netlify, Cloudflare, Supabase) that store and serve our content;
- Email service providers we use to send you waitlist notifications;
- Analytics providers that help us understand site usage in aggregate.
We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or other legal process; to protect our rights, property, or safety, or those of our users or others; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this notice. Waitlist email addresses are retained until you ask us to remove them, or until you've been part of the relevant Product for at least 12 months after launch, whichever comes first. Technical logs are typically retained for 90 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights under laws such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate information;
- Deletion — ask us to delete your personal information;
- Objection — object to certain uses of your information;
- Portability — ask for your information in a portable format;
- Withdraw consent — withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent to process your information.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@getveridem.com. We'll respond within 30 days. We don't charge for these requests, and we won't discriminate against you for making one.
Security
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, restricted access, and secure cloud infrastructure. No internet transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International transfers
We are based in the United States. If you access our Products from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, processed in, and stored in the U.S. or other countries where our service providers operate. By using our Products, you consent to these transfers.
Changes to this notice
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email (if we have your address) or by posting a notice on our websites. Continued use of our Products after a change means you accept the updated notice.
This Privacy Notice does not constitute legal advice. It is a plain-language description of our current practices. For specific legal questions about how this Notice applies to you, consult a qualified attorney in your jurisdiction.
